Happy 4th Birthday David!! My son turned 4 this past weekend and I'm amazed at how grown up he seems all of the sudden.

Since it was Thanksgiving weekend we didn't do much (plus the kids had colds). I had a wedding that Saturday (his actual birthday) and John had his last UCF Football Game (stop the presses ... they won!!). So David hung out with John and then that night we opened gifts and ate pasta and had birthday cake! I think my one year old, Sophia, was more excited about the cake than all of us!

I could not be any happier to have such a great son! He makes me feel like I am the only person that matters in this world. My love for him is so huge, it hurts at times to think he's only in my posession for a short time. I'm so thankful God loves him more!

AMAZING! That was how I felt (and all the guests) at the end of Steve and Rebecca's wedding last night.

It was always Rebecca's dream to have fireworks as she exited her wedding reception and Tina and I helped make that dream come true for her.

The four of us were the only one's that knew about the fireworks and at the end of the night, the guests were asked to go onto the Veranda at Lake Nona Golf Club to wave goodbye to Steve and Rebecca as they departed. They drove a golf cart around and as they stopped and waved to their family and friends, I gave the signal to Bell's Fireworks and BAM! the 5-minute show began.

What a magical way to end such a special evening. I had goose bumps - it was just incredible. Rinat Halon (www.halonwp.com) captured this shot at the end of the night!

I heard from Hollywood the other day concerning Jim and Brenda's September 30th wedding that was filmed for TLC. Catherine, the producer, said they had until December 19th to edit and then they will know when the wedding will air for the new show, "I Do ... Again".

I can't image how she even begins the editing process! They shot over 60 hours worth of coverage and it's an hour show (minus commercials). What a fun experience though!! Not sure if Jim and Brenda feel the same since they basically had cameras on them 24/7 for a week and their entire wedding day.

Jennifer Fortin (www.fortinphotography.com) did an amazing job capturing the day and JoAnn Chapman (www.magicoccasionscatering.com) and her daughter Angie put together a fabulous meal for the guests and designed a beautiful cake as well!

As soon as I hear back and have an air date and time, I'll let everyone know.

I can't believe I have a blog! This is so exciting! I hope this gives you all a chance to get to know me and see some of the great people I get to work with.

I started my own business after spending over 10 years in the event planning industry. I was at The University of Central Florida serving as Assistant Director of Sports Marketing with my fabulous, fun colleage, Gert Garman when I found out I was pregnant with my first child. I was so excited because my husband and I had been trying for years. Anyway, I decided I would work up until the due date and then stay at home with my son. After David was born, I quickly realized it was hard to stay at home after working for over 15 years. Although I loved him dearly, I wanted to do something where I can still be at home but have an adult life.

Within weeks, Eventfully Yours (my husband came up with the name) was created. I made some phone calls, took out an ad in The Perfect Wedding Guide and began planning my first
wedding for Ric and Punky Sunderman (Frailey).

Slowly I began to reach out and network. I was scared at first, feeling like a high school student trying to get in with the "cool" kids. There are so many wonderful people out there and I wanted everyone to know this wasn't a hobby, I was for real!

I have been so blessed in these past few years! The business has really taken off and I have worked some amazing weddings with fabulous vendors. I enjoy working with people who have the same values as me, doing what it takes to make the day so very special for the bride and groom and their guests.
