NATASHA AND JASON

WOW is the best way to describe Natasha and Jason's wedding! Well, spectacular, fun, amazing, flawless would be some other great words to use! :)

It was a perfect day as these two love birds exchanged their vows at Isleworth Country Club! As you can see, Natasha looked gorgeous in her Kenneth Pool and Jason was looking dapper! :)

I was honored to work with the one and only Garrett Nudd! He is so talented and these pictures are just breathtaking - you can also view the slideshow at www.garrettnuddphotography.com/Slideshow/Sloan.

Event Source perfected Natasha's vision and the decor was just wonderful! And of course Steve Weinstein with Power Entertainment DJ kept the dance floor packed all night long. Even Jason's grandmother, who has never danced before shared some time on the dance floor with Jason - it was a very sweet moment!
I wish Natasha and Jason all the best that life has to offer - I'll be seeing you at the UCF Stadium! Go Knights! :)

JACOB GONZALEZ

My assistant, Tina, recently had her first child (a St. Patty's day baby) and a good friend of ours Jen Fortin took some photos of the happy family. I love the one of her mom - proud grandma with her first grandchild - so sweet!

Tina and Manuel just celebrated their second anniversary - amazing how fast time goes by! So glad to still be a part of their lives after planning their big day and watching their family grow. Enjoy this bundle of joy - before you know it, he'll be in kindergarten! :)

LIZ & MIKE

We had our first wedding at Casa Feliz (love that place) with Liz and Mike and their photographer and friend of mine, Nathan Root (rootography.com) was nice enough to send me photos for you all to see! You can see their slideshow at www.clients.rootography.com/lizmike/.
Of course Greenery took care of the flowers and I loved how they turned out! Liz spent a lot of time with the handmade programs that we hung in trees and as you can see it turned out to be just a beautiful day.
Enjoy!

ICE CREAM FOR EVERYONE!
I recently had a wedding at Leu Gardens with Heather and Mike and they wanted to add a special touch to their reception by serving ice cream to all of their guests. Mike's grandparents did this over 60 years ago when they got married and were so honored when Heather and Mike surprised them and did the same thing on their wedding day.
It was very touching to watch the grandparents as things unfolded!

FINALLY!

A couple months ago Natasha had a bridal shoot with none other than Garrett Nudd (garrettnudd.com) at the Grand Bohemian in downtown Orlando and I was not able to post until after the wedding (obviously).

She was remarkably beautiful in her Kenneth Pool gown and I am axious to see her wedding day photos from Isleworth Country Club because I think she looked even better the second time around!

For the first time in 5 years of coordinating weddings, I had to move a wedding ceremony indoors due to rain! It was Michelle and Brian's big day and the ceremony was to take place at Mead Gardens in Winter Park, which is where I got married. I was super excited to have a wedding there and with such a great couple. But Saturday brought lots of rain and 30 minutes before "show time" we had to call it.

Thank God for my good friend Tommy Murphy at Greenery Productions - he set up the Auditorium at Orlando Museum of Art for the ceremony and then stayed around to help me and the girls as we rushed to get everyone inside and start the ceremony and finish setting for the reception.

It was a crazy day but so beautiful (even with rain). We managed to jump outside for about 10 minutes and get some photos (thanks Jen of Fortin Photography)!

Darrin with Fun Factory DJ had the dance floor packed all night and Michelle looked like she could be a contestant in the Miss America pageant and of course Brian was quite the hottie! :)

They were such a joy to work with - all the best to Michelle and Brian!

March was a crazy month with six weddings and one 18th birthday party! I've been slow to post and I apologize for that but Anna with Anna So Photography sent me some photos from our March 15th wedding!

Alexis and Travis got married at his parents home, off of Lake Conway in Downtown Orlando. It was a gorgeous day and there was surprise fireworks during the night that capped off the evening!

AQUATICA

We had a great day today at Sea World Aquatica - although a bit chilly in the morning when we got wet and the wind was blowing but it was a beautiful, sunny day and the kids had a blast! That is definitely my new favorite park!

WHAT ARE THE ODDS?

It was baby day today as I was lucky enough to make one stop at Winnie Palmer Hospital to see Tina with her new son, Jake, and a former client, Ashlee with her new daughter, Taylor and my sister-n-law Regina with her new daughter, Isabella!

Seriously, what are the odds? They all came via c-section (only one planned that way) and Jake entered the world first on St. Patty's Day at 6:16 am and then Taylor followed at 9:30 pm and Isabella was born today (the 18th) at 3:10 pm!

PAR-TAY!

This past weekend we had a wedding at Knowles Chapel with the reception at The Orlando Museum of Art and I have to say this was definitely a crowd of partiers!

The locations alone are amazing but having Cuisiniers cater the event and Dan from White Rose mixing up the music - it was a night to remember!

Kimberly looked amazing in both dresses - and Anthony wasn't looking half bad himself! :)
Thanks to Rhett Pyle for getting me these images so quickly (artisticphotography.com).

NIGHT UNDER THE STARS

I recently hosted an open house party with Brian Adams (bapg.net) and Rainer Flor (simplycinematic.com) to help showcase a new downtown location - Star Tower.

It's located on Osceola Avenue, around the corner from The Sanctuary and Fifi's, Graze and The Beacon provide all the food and drinks for the rooftop venue! It's so chic and amazing.

Anyway, it was a fun night and perfect weather for the event.

HOW SWEET IT IS .....

This past Saturday I had the privledge of working with Jacquie and Cory in their wedding at Portofino Bay Hotel. They planned this wedding in about 2 1/2 months and it was such a sweet day!

I have to say that Cory is about as good as it gets! He was so involved with planning and the love he has for Jacquie and her three wonderful children showed so much throughout the planning process and especially on the wedding day!

He took the time to read vows to the children and present them with gifts and as I stood back and listened, I couldn't help but get chocked up! It was truly one of the most touching ceremonies I've ever seen!

My good friend, Jen Fortin was on hand to capture the day and here are a few photos but you can go on her site at fortinphotography.com and click on her blog to see a slideshow!

Special thanks to Tommy at Greenery Productions for the amazing flowers and always being so fun to be around (even if you think I'm a dork for wearing a name tag)! To All Star Ice for the ever so popular martini luge! And of course Holly and Ashley for always being so helpful and such a joy to work with! :)

WINTER WONDERLAND

This was a wedding I did a couple months ago at the Country Club of Orlando but Rinat Halon (halonwp.com) just sent me some photos for my website and I had to take a minute to blog and brag on my good friend, Tommy Murphy of Greenery Productions!

I absolutely loved how he created exactly what Stacy and Eddie were looking for! The cake was amazing (Shanna Rae Sweets) and you can never go wrong with BBJ Linen!

WEDDING UNVEILED MAGAZINE

I heard from Anne Almasy today (almasyphoto.com) and she notified me that Jessica and Brett's wedding (12-29-07 at The Duncan House) is going to be featured in a new publication called Weddings Unveiled Magazine (weddingsunveiledmagazine.com) for their Spring Issue!

Super exciting!

CENTRAL FLORIDA BRIDE PARTY

The new Lake Mary Events Center played host for the Central Florida Bride party tonight and it was a blast! A bunch of us danced for most of the night and Lisa Konecny of E-Events had me out on the dance floor learning Soldier Boy (thanks Bryan Taylor of Complete Music & Video for being patient with me!) It's so nice to get out and have some fun with everyone!
