I was fortunate enough to be selected to plan The Knot industry party that we just had this past Wednesday at Ceviche Tapas Bar & Restaurant in downtown Orlando and it was a "Green Event!" I am happy to say that all of our flowers were taken to MD Anderson Cancer Ward the next day, thanks to Special E! I even handed out potted herbs as my favor!

The party was great and I have received tons of e-mails and phone calls from vendors telling me how much fun they had-my goal was accomplished! We all work so hard in this industry taking care of people and I really wanted to take care of everyone for the night-the drinks were flowing and the food was amazing!

Special thanks to my #1 DJ-Steve Weinstein who made sure we had the crowd dancing! Also, the room look wonderful and I can't thank Jay and his team at Flowers of Winter Park enough for all they did during this process. Shanna Rae did some fabulous cakes for the party and we had Sweet! come out with their wonderful cupcakes.

Last but certainly not least is the fabulous photorapher, Brian Adams! You can see all photos from the night by clicking here!

I am so excited that PJ sent me some photos from the wedding last weekend at the Omni! These photos are amazing but I guess that's easy when the subjects are so freaking adorable!

An all new look!
I am so excited to announce that I have received a make over (not the kind that I probably really need but the kind to keep my company young and hip!)
My assistant, Tina, has been working on a new logo for me for about 3 months and I could not be happier with this new look! She totally rocks and I am so thankful to have her on my team!
As I approach my 5th Anniversary in business, I thought it was time to update my look so check out my new website and I hope you all like the new logo as much as I do!

AMIT & MELISSA

What a weekend! I was at the Omni at Champions Gate all weekend as Amit and Melissa had an Indian Ceremony on Saturday and an American Ceremony on Sunday.

I can't believe I didn't take any photos on Saturday but Sunday I managed to get a few. I loved the candy station (shocker) and also the groom's cake that Melissa surprised Amit with and the Eiffel Tower cookies that Amit surprised Melissa with. (Thanks Shanna Rae for doing such a great job with them!)

But the best surprise came in the middle of the reception when we took the cake outside and invited all guests outside to watch them cut the cake .... little did they know that as they went to feed one another, we signaled for the fireworks to go off behind them. Everyone loved it!

Best wishes to the Dr. & Mrs!

Ashley & Andy

One of my assistants, Ashley, tied the Knot recently with Andy at Summit Church and had their reception at Orlando Museum of Art!

Ashley did a great job with planning this wedding and pulling in special touches! The buffet stations (done by Arthur's) was out of this world! Her flowers, which were designed by Tommy at Greenery Productions, were simple, yet amazing!
Special thanks to a wonderful team in making this day perfect for Ashley and Andy- Power Entertainment DJ, Quest Drape, and BBJ Linen!

LUCKY 8!

Jennifer and Juan got engaged on 7-07-07 so they thought it was only fitting to get married on 8-08-08!

The wedding took place at the City Arts Factory in downtown Orlando and it was so unique and creative! Juan had created this gorgeous backdrop for where the ceremony was being held-a painting with their names in it, the date, hearts and their new monogram of S! He hung a bunch of his artwork throughout the reception and even had a canvas up for guests to sign! The bride's family made cookies and those were put out for dessert with the cake and guests could fill a bag and take some home.

It was definitely a fun night as Steve with Power Entertainment kept the crowd entertained with his music and Cuisiniers definitely pleased the crowd with their fantastic grub! And Lee James did a beautiful job on the floral!

Saying Goodbye

Our good friends Tim and Monica and their kids, Hayley and Nathan, are moving to Texas and after nine years of a beautiful friendship, saying goodbye is not easy.

David and Sophia just love hanging out with Hayley and Nathan and luckily they still enjoying acting silly with us so we call went to Chuckee Cheese on Thursday and had a blast! We played for hours and ate some pizza and then headed over to my new favorite place in Waterford Lakes- Sweet! (the best cupcakes around)

Anyway, I just thought I'd share some photos of our last day together. I am so gonna miss them!

THE BEST GIFT

I have been honored to work many weddings over the past five years and the best gift I can ever receive is a referral from a client! It means so much to me when someone passes my name on because not only were they happy working with me on this very special day, but happy enough to talk about me to others - how awesome!

Well this past Saturday I watched as Jane and Pepi exchaged vows at Knowles Chapel at Rollins College and then celebrated with family and friends at the Rosen Centre.

I met Jane through a former bride and now friend of mine, Megan Fryzel (Gilbert) who married the love of her life, Jimmy, last October! It was great to see Megan and Jimmy at the wedding and share some great laughs! :)

Jane was such a stunning bride - she was total magazine material! Photographer Derek Smith hooked me up with some great photos and the wedding was only four days ag0 - he rocks!

Of course I have to give a shout out to Tommy at Greenery who did an amazing job with the floral!
