HEATHER AND BRAD

I know it's a small world, we hear the saying all the time but sometimes it's just plain bizarre when things happen the way they do!

A few months ago I took over the ceremonies at The Omni at ChampionsGate and have been truly blessed to be working with Jennifer Smith and all the great brides she books. As part of my service, I meet with the bride before the wedding and we go over the logistics of the day. Well when I met with Heather a few months ago, as soon as I saw her I felt I knew her from somewhere and she said I looked familiar as well but we couldn't place it.

Anyway, a few days before the wedding we met up again so she could give me her personal items for us to the set up and again I'm thinking - where in the world do I know her from.

Thursday was rehearsal day and as Brad turns around so I can meet him, turns out I do know them and he was in a wedding I did almost three years ago. And as the bridal party (all 19 of them) come in for rehearsal I end up knowing about 6 of them as well from that same wedding plus another one I did last July! And one of the bridesmaids, Joy, is a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding I have! It was like a little reunion!

And now, as luck would have it, two more are engaged and planning a March, 2009 wedding! I am so excited that I'll be working with Liz and Matt for their big day and seeing this crazy bunch all over again!!

I LOVE MY JOB!!!!! :)

KELLY & ADAM

On October 18th I had the pleasure of watching Kelly and Adam in a beautiful Jewish Ceremony at the Rosen Plaza.

Nathan and Jensey of Rootography were there to capture the day and he sent me over a few images!
I loved the deep purple calla lilly bouquet! Tommy Murphy at Greenery Productions did a fabulous job with the decor and I cannot wait to share the rest of the images with you all! But for now, enjoy these few!

Halloween Party

Jeffrey Stoner and Michele Butler hosted a fabulous Halloween party the other night and it was all about the t-shirts. Problem was, I was running late from rehearsal and had no time to go home and change so I was the only goober who showed up without a cool t-shirt on! :)

Anyway, it was a great time hanging out with everyone and if you'd like to see a slideshow from the night, click here!

A couple weeks ago I was invited to the opening of Icebar Orlando and was super excited to see this new location! Of course I wasn't thinking and wore a dress with open toe shoes but luckily they provided a thermal cape for us as you enter the "icebar".

I was with friend and colleague, Tommy Murphy, and if you click here you can see a video highlight from the Grand Opening. I'm the one in the icebox dancing! :)

It's not too often that we have a wedding during the week so when we do get one it's a treat! Especially when it's a Tuesday morning brunch like Jennifer and Ben's was yesterday at the Omni.
It turned out to be such a beautiful day and after such an awful Monday, I am so glad Jennifer had the wedding she had been dreaming about!
On Monday morning as Jennifer was driving to pick up a bridesmaid, she was in a car accident! Some driver ran a red light and Jennfer was taken to ORMC. Thank God she was okay but suffered a lot of bruising from the seat belt and air bag. When I saw her at rehearsal later that day, she was in good spirits but tired.
By Tuesday morning, she was fine and ready to go and she made sure everyone stayed on time with hair and make up. With her military background, this was an easy job for her! :)
Special thanks to Greenery Productions for providing awesome personal flowers-I espeically loved Jennifer's bouquet of Anemones! And also to Jon Longhurst who sent me this photo!

E-Session in Baton Rouge

Blythe and Jeff met up with photographer Aaron Hogan last week for their engagement session and I am delighted to share these photos with you!

Not only are these two a hot couple but I love Aaron's style and am excited to be working with him on this January wedding!

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!

45 years ago my parents tied the knot! The entire wedding cost them about $2,000, including $149 for the wedding dress and $6/per person for 200 guests for a buffet dinner and $150 for a 5-piece band for 5 hours!

My how times have changed!

I was going to post of photo from their wedding day but of course can't find one so I thought one of our family was more fitting!

45 years, 4 kids, 10 grandchildren and 1 granddog (my sister would flip if I left out Spankey!) And of course 2 wonderful son-n-laws and 1 very sweet daughter-n-law.

I love you mom and dad-thanks for keeping things fun in the family!

I know I already blogged about Ashley's wedding (my assistant who got married back in August) but Cory Callahan just sent me more photos and I had to post some of these!
