On June 5th I was voted in as Vice President for The Wedding Professionals of Central Florida and after serving last year as Director of Bridal Services, I was honored that the members wanted to keep me around for another year!

As VP, I am responsible for finding venue locations and getting vendors to spotlight or showcase to members/guests in attendance that night. As well as assist with the website, newsletter and other various things to help make sure things run smooth.

I actually organized the June 5th meeting (I guess they were testing me) and it was a great night out at The Orange County Regional History Center. We had 83 in attendance and I think it was because we had free wine! But it was a really fun night and what networking is all about - meeting other people in your industry and getting your name out there.

The new board recently had a planning session meeting out at my brother-n-laws place in Avalon Park (http://www.winedownrestaurant.com/) and I am so excited about this year. I have been fortunate to book some great venues and am already book until February of 2008. We will have the opportunity to see The Citrus Club, Heathrow, Maggiano's and Orlando Museum of Art for our December Social.

WPCF will be celebrating 15 years as an organization this fall and I am proud to be a part of it! I hope you will consider joining us one night - sign up at http://www.wpcf.com/!

This past Saturday I did a wedding for Ashlee and Ryan at Shades of Green out at Disney and it was one of the funnest weddings I've ever done!

The couple in the top photo are Nickie and Larry and I coordinated their wedding last December. Ashlee was a bridesmaid for Nickie and since I worked with Nickie for over one year, it was like a little reunion for me seeing some of the same people from their wedding.

And of course, Holly, Dana and I couldn't resist getting a photo with Mickey!

Special thanks to fabulous photographer Jen Fortin (www.fortinphotography.com) for doing this collage for me and being such a joy to work with during the wedding!

Happy 50th Birthday Claire!

I had the pleasure of doing a surprise birthday party for Claire at Antonio's in Maitland this past Friday.

It was so much fun and she was truly surprised, which is a good thing! :)

If you are looking for a great place for a rehearsal dinner or intimate party (we had 43 in the room) Antonio's is a great place! The food was unbelievable, the wine was superb and the service was top notch!
